The Manos del Uruguay ranges of yarn are made by a cooperative of ladies who handspin and hand-dye yarn from sheep fed on grasses that have never had a drop of chemical fertilisers or pesticides used on them.
 
Aswell as the yarn being used for knitting it is also woven for many of the top fashion houses around the world
