each block was done by a seperate caravan and named after a state in the USA
no member of the club had ever done any patchwork before!

Amy is just 5 years old and this is her very first quilt. mum helped with cutting out and binding but that's it. What a star!
 
Sailing on the Sea
A marvellous example of knitting wools with fabrics to create something exciting.

 


 


This beautiful quilt dates back to 1831 and shows perfectly the patchwork design of Grandmas Flower Garden
 
The quilt was in quite a state when it was gifted to Mrs Janet Dewar (seen above) but we think she's done a lovely job of restoring it back to its former glory.
