About us Divas...

Laura & Connie

You will find us every Friday and Saturday
of the Fourth weekend of the month
running to and fro taking care of our fabulous customers
in our store at 320 N Main
in downtown Clovis, NM!!

Stop in
and you will be offered a fresh
cookie straight from the oven!

Are you a local who sees something
you can't wait for until the next
"Open Weekend?"
Just email us and we'll deliver or create
a pick up place for your item!

Oh, the picture above?
This is representative what we looked
like at the "end of the day" on our
first day of our "Grand Opening!"

After much hard work and many
late nights and very early mornings
we had made it through our
first day exhausted but elated at the response
from the local community!

This is Joanie!
She's a great friend and had
scurried across the street to
take advantage of a hot cookie!

We asked her to pose and snapped
a picture of her as she
is always just the cutest thing
in her pastel velour suits!
Just ask her and she'll tell you that
"I'm the Princess"....course, we'd never
argue this point!
We love you Joanie!

Here's an outside
picture of our corner, never knowing
what sort of great items we'll
have outside to draw in the consumer!

Here's a peek into our workshop...
well, actually....it's only a small corner!
Girlfriends, we could put the nearest
flea market to shame!

Good Times!

Sisters at Heart & Business Partners,
we became friends during a roadtrip to
War Eagle Craft Shows in Arkansas,
5-1/2 years ago....

Connie, a professional seamstress,
and Laura, a self-taught artist,
brainstormed how to combine
their talents into a single business.
Thus "2 Shabby Divas" was born!

Online we began with our "Diva Duffles”.
Soon requests came for the trims on our bags, so we tried our
hand at the Fabric & Trim business!
What a great success!
We're forever searching diligently to keep the most current and
gorgeous items available to our customers!

When not designing, sewing, or shipping fabric, we’re on the hunt
at garage sales, or browsing junk stores!
We work from our homes, and in a workshop behind Connie’s house.
Our treasures are cleaned, sanded, repaired, re-wired, trimmed, appliquéd,
painted and distressed! These items are sold locally or at craft shows
during the year.

Loving what we do and always reaching
for growth in our business....

Are you an up and coming crafter??

We believe all crafter’s can be a success!
Research the market, love what you do,
and grab a fun and motivating partner!
That's what we did and we're having a ball!

Grab on to your dream and Run With It!

From Laura: Thanks to Taylor for his help around the house,
carrying of all my "stuff" and the white-washing that he does
so well, Lauren, my sweet married daughter, who is a constant
source of encouragement to her "MO", & Dustin who prods me along
from way out on the west coast. Thanks to my mom
(an up-and-coming crafter) and dad (my favorite hauler!)A
who encourage and help me in more ways than I can
say and to the Love of my Life, Bryan, who has been my
long-standing source of encouragement and love!

From Connie: Thanks to my mom for her support and for her beautiful
hand-embellishment as well as the rag-quilts that she
adds to my business! To Collin (my youngest) for his support
and to my wonderful husband (Quinton) who encourages me along
the way and helps me out and loves me even when he lives amongst the
crafts! To Cookie and Candy (my puppies) who sit on my lap while
I'm busy creating and always lend their unconditional love!
